After taking a break from pursuing web site design and development, I've decided to take another look at something I love to do. Sort through the frustrations and obstacles to find a process that works for both my customers and myself.
Not like the rest
For most of my life I've gone down the road less traveled. And, I'm glad I did. It has everything to do with asking the question "What's life really about, and what are the good parts." The answers have often been contrary to popular belief, or common understanding. What does that mean? That means, even though we live in the 21st century, we still live and a crazy mixed up world. That, I can either get caught up in the craziness, or push back, or away, and go in the better direction for me. Which translates to better for those around me. Life from the inside out is especially pertinent
Before I go off on a tangent or get up on a soap box, "Not like the rest" means asking the hard questions, and following the real or genuine answers beneath the surface, or past the quick fix, flash, bang, and fancy. That maturity is especially needed on world wide web and that it doesn't have to mean stuffy, old and negative. That it can mean creative, yet practical, fun, yet functional.
"Not like the rest" also means looking for the truth, working toward trust. Two things often complained about and rarely found on the internet. Too often what one person says is "being honest", another person like myself says that's just rageful, emotionally out of control.
I guess I dare to push myself, and for what is the best path to follow, not follow the 'trends' and crowd 'likes.'
